HLS was founded in 1991 as a highly complex storage and cargo handling company in the Hamburg container port. In 1999 HLS moved to our own logistics terminal in the Hamburg port, Afrikastraße 2. Thus a new dimension of logistics management began. Because the newly equipped, flood safe permanent establishment is on an external surface of 34,000 square meters. Furthermore we have a hall space of 10,000 square meters with state-of-the-art equipment in order to handle all customer orders without any problems. Our facilities are suitable for dangerous goods of different types and meet the strict legal conditions.

Optimal connectivity, optimal technology, optimal location.
The terminal is perfectly linked with the main trainsport routes like rail, road and air traffic. That leads to short journey times and to an efficient organization. Our team is very well qualified for the various tasks. With our powerful forklift fleet with load capacitites from 2,5 to 46 tons we can handle orders for international sea traffic, also overheights and heavy lifts are no problem at all. Furthermore we have overhead cranes for industrial packagings, with 10 tons load capacity each. Special oversea packagings for machine or plant parts can be produced directly on our logistics facility, according to regular standards. In order to be able to load your goods in containers at any time HLS keeps empty containers of renowned shipping companies in stock. When it comes to flexible logistics we are constantly ready for operation.

Professional handling of customs clearance.
TCS takes care of samplings and of destructions under customs supervision. Furthermore we have developed a software for our clients which is connected with all main sea terminals. So the current ship and container data can be retrieved at any time. All our processes are certified by HACCP, GMP+ and AEO-F. As a result of this you can be sure that your logistical task is in the best hands with us.
